Salesforce has been named the #1 CRM Provider consistently over the last few years. The yearly IDC Study proves it over and over each year. This means, there are more and more Salesforce Customers requiring skilled Salesforce knowledgeable employees or contractors to support the demand.

Plus, Salesforce has built such an incredible network of support in any shape or form which makes working in the Salesforce ecosystem even more exciting. If this isn't convincing enough… ;)

The Salesforce eco system offers many different types of job roles, such as System Administrator, Developer, Consultant, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Trainer, and many more. What is important is that you make yourself familiar with the types of jobs and what skills they require.

Take this and compare to your personal preferences. For example, do you like to support others with daily requests like a System Administrator does? Or do you like to sit down and discuss strategies and options like a Consultant does?

Our Salesforce Beginner Challenge has been set up for you to get familiar with the entire Salesforce ecosystem, infrastructure and of course the system itself with lot's of hands-on activities. This gives you a pretty good inside, so by the end of the challenge you should be able to make a decision whether you want to further pursue a Salesforce career.

It may feel that way sometimes. But no, not at all. Quite the opposite. Salesforce is continuously growing their customer base each year and with this the demand for Salesforce professionals. Salesforce Job Roles come in different forms and names. So, don't get put off, carefully read through the job descriptions. You'll notice that many ask for the same thing just in a different wording.

Most Salesforce jobs require a Salesforce Certification. Once you've completed our challenge, you will have a better idea which Salesforce Career Path you would like to pursue and then prepare for the corresponding Salesforce Certification Exam. For example, the System Administrator or the Platform App Builder Certification. Both are entry certifications for a number of different types of job roles.

And of course, every single step, small or big, will increase your chances on the job market. You don't necessarily need to have a certification but it will very likely open more doors.

You absolutely can! The Salesforce Platform is set up in a way that you do not have to have any single coding or tech experience to work with the system. It has a very intuitive interface and point-and-click setup features to configure most common business requirements without ever having to touch any code. And for the more IT related elements like security settings, that's what the IT department is for. ;)

We know everyone has a different lifestyle. Some people have a full-time job, kids and other obligations. You choose your time and pace. Some days you won't be able to do anything, other days you might feel like completing three things at once. You might even choose to complete the entire email series and tasks over one weekend.

You have full flexibility how you complete the challenge. We'll send you an email a day for 21 days in a row. Make sure to save them in your inbox, so you can attend to them whenever it suits you.

Did you know that many studies have shown that on average you need three months to learn something new and build a habit? This challenge isn't even one month long. Being successful in a job includes commitment, perseverance and endurance. These are attributes you will be internalizing throughout this challenge.

Of course, we are not here to hold you back. If you prefer to go faster, you absolutely can! For example, you can save the 21 emails we'll send you in your inbox and then complete all tasks within a matter of a weekend or a couple of weekdays. This is totally up to you. We're just giving you the option.
